Thickness of Longboard
The thickness is a delicate parameter.
A thick surfing floats well and starts more quickly (heavy surfer or beginner or soft waves).
A large thickness often meant rounder rails which "hang" less in turn.
Usual thicknesses: of 4,8 cm (wafer of pro) to 8,5 cm (large longboard 10 ').
Note: of course, a thick surfing weighs a little more (more matter) but the profit in floating and much more important.
