Paddling
To paddie correctly, you musî balance your body's weightin the right position on the board. As a rougb guide your shoulders should be approx. 1/3 oftbe way back from tbe nose whife lying on top ofyour board. Remember to keep your bead up and try not to arch your back. Good body position is important. You'll know it's right when you can paddie as fast as possible with the nose of the board onlyjust renia in ing out oftbe water. Any further forward and you will nose dive and any further back and the tail will be too far under water, with the nose too far out oftbe water. Keep your legs together and paddie by raising your arms out of the water, reaching tbem out in front ofyou andpulling them through the water alternative!^ left then right not at tbe same time.
